Gantri - Focal Collection
Focal Collection is not your average task lighting. Inspired by the clinical lights of dentists and tattoo artists, PROWL developed a collection of lighting pieces designed for creative projects and creative spaces. As the name suggests, these lights are focal points. When pointed down, the light focuses on the work below and when pointed up, it becomes an ambient beacon within the home.
Process
Embracing Gantri’s process and plant-based materials, the team took an iterative approach to form and detailing in both 2D and 3D to celebrate the ribbed textures ubiquitous with 3D printing in search of a light that not only mechanically allowed the light to be focused where needed but aesthetically as well.
All three lighting styles - floor, sconce, and task - are available direct to consumer on Gantri’s website in three unique color ways. All of the lights are made-to-order and 3D printed using plant-based alternative plastics.
