Air Company - AIRMADE™ Enclosure

Air Company’s AIRMADE™ System turns CO₂, an abundant and problematic greenhouse gas, into an endless resource for combating climate change by converting this gas into sustainable chemicals and fuels. At present, the technology may look complex, but it is an innovative climate solution that can lower global GHG emissions.

How could the technology’s presence better communicate this mission? How could we tell the story of this feedstock in a physical form? How could the process taking place inside be protected? How could an enclosure for the technology consider the environment in its transportation and deployment?

As storytellers, we were inspired to utilize the AIRMADE™ System’s feedstock as the main concept for our design. Titled ‘It Begins with Air”, it was important to tie this technology’s appearance and design back to its function and essential purpose.

More Details

Deflated covers are easily rolled and transported to the installation site, further retaining consciousness on the environment through a smaller footprint and lighter shipping loads. After simply draping the deflated covers over the machine, grommets hold the panels in place while the units are inflated with one-way valves. The concept’s metaphorical lungs full of air pay homage to the inputs and core of AIR COMPANY’s AIRMADE™ technology.
